Clean the kitchen cabinets finished only becomes difficult when you actually cracked and damaged to the point of water can easily seep through the finish. When completed you bad, you're seeing Refinishing, not just cleaning.

But you can limit the misuse and clean your closet when they become dirty. This helps keep your finish in good condition.

Murphy Oil Soap is also a good cleanser for your kitchen cabinets. It is gentle enough to use on wood. It is made with oils and lye, which, when mixed, produce a chemical reaction to make soap. No oil or alkali remaining in the finished product, so you do not have to worry about getting any oil on cabinet finish (making each refinishing future easier).
